At Free Qube (accessible from freeqube.com), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document describes the types of information that is collected and recorded by Free Qube and how we use it. If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
1. File Processing & Document Privacy
We understand that the files you process using our PDF, Image, and other tools may contain sensitive personal or business information. Free Qube is designed with your privacy in mind:
- Browser-Side Processing: Whenever possible, our tools process your files locally within your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. In these cases, your files are never uploaded to our servers.
- Server-Side Processing: For certain complex operations that require server resources (such as PDF unlocking or text-to-speech conversion), your files are securely transmitted to our servers via encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Automatic Deletion: Any files uploaded to our servers for processing are temporary. They are strictly used to fulfill your requested task and are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers shortly after processing is complete. We do not keep backups, and we do not view, analyze, or share the contents of your files.
2. Log Files
Free Qube follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as a part of their hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of this information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, Free Qube uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information. You may also see a cookie consent banner when first visiting the site, which allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies.
4. Google AdSense & DoubleClick DART Cookie
Free Qube uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visits to Free Qube and other sites on the internet. This is commonly referred to as interest-based advertising or remarketing.
Specifically, Google AdSense and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Serve personalized ads to users based on prior visits to our website and other websites across the internet.
- Measure the performance and effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
- Personalize the advertising content displayed to you based on your browsing history and interests.
- Limit the number of times you see a particular advertisement (frequency capping).
The technologies used by Google may include cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons. These are embedded in the advertisements and links shown on Free Qube and are sent directly to users' browsers. Google automatically receives your IP address when this occurs.
- Google Ads Settings: https://www.google.com/settings/ads — Manage or opt out of personalized ads served by Google across the web.
- Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) Opt-Out: https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ — Opt out of interest-based advertising from multiple participating ad networks.
Please note that Free Qube has no access to or control over the cookies used by Google or other third-party advertisers. Opting out of personalized ads does not mean you will stop seeing advertisements; you may continue to see generic, non-personalized ads.
5. Third-Party Privacy Policies
Free Qube's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. We advise you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt out of certain options.
You can also choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To find out more information about cookie management with specific web browsers, please visit the respective browser's official website.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Free Qube does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Our services and tools are intended for a general adult audience. If you believe that your child has provided personal information on our website, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action and remove the information from our records.
